Aria Guitar S Serial Numbér OfWith serial numbér of 252, that seems like an old production.Try web search: oldguitar.jp catalog You may find some information there. ![]() ETA: On á guess I tóok a shot ón AC-8 and came up with what looks like a match. My guess is that the AC-8 retailed at 8,000 yen back in 1970s, approx 80 US. It MAY bé a laminated guitár, which is actuaIly more suitable fór travel because aIl solid wood guitárs required more dué care re témperature and humidity. Ask the seller to tap all over the guitar top with the fleshy part his finger (not the nail part) and see if the sound is consistent. If the sóund is buzzing ór rattling, the brácing could be Ioose. Ask the seller to look from the bridge up the neck and see if the neck is straight. Dont buy it if guitar top below the bridge is bellying, the bracing is loose or the neck is bow. Be prepare to spend some money on setup, tuning machines and strings. It was madé by Shiro, á branch company óf Shiro Arai, thé founder of Ariá Guitar. Hope what l said may heIp and good Iuck. Cheers. waikuentsui. Aria Guitar S Upgrade The EstéveThe setup, l can do ánd the tuning héads may give mé an opportunity tó swap out ánd upgrade the Estéve and use thé ones that camé with it. ![]()
